Analysis by InsiderAdvantage Pollster Matt Towery:
These results, when you look at the tabs, show Trump at 52.4% (almost a seven point spread) which is almost exactly what he received in 2020. The tabs show that the gender gap with women is less than in many battleground states, where heavy doses of campaign ads have targeted female voters. And independent voters, who make up a good portion of the vote in Iowa are breaking for Trump. The state’s demographics are relative easy to weight as compared to more diverse states such as Georgia. It could be closer than expected and there are experts we respect in Iowa who are suggesting such. But we’ve polled there many times (albeit primarily for caucuses) and our numbers appear pretty in line with what one might expect.
