What is your opinion of the job performance of President Donald Trump?
Approve: 44%
Disapprove: 49%
Undecided: 7%
Analysis by InsiderAdvantage pollster Matt Towery: “President Trump’s approval rating is starting to recover after a bumpy last month. While the president is down from our last survey, he is certainly performing better now among surveys by polling operations that consistently poll Trump accurately in his presidential contests (InsiderAdvantage, Rasmussen, Big Data, Emerson, RMG Research) than those who have traditionally been less accurate in polling Trump races.
This does not mean that Trump does not have challenges. His approval among independents has dropped to 33% in our survey. And he has lost some of his younger support as well as that of some Hispanic/Latinos.
But the large 7% of undecided respondents suggests that with the resolution of the Epstein documents now determined and a renewed focus on the economy and affordability, respondents are starting to shift their opinions. I suspect the next round of surveys by these more reliable firms and others such as Trafalgar Group (who has not reported) will reflect a settling out of the undecided respondents.”
