Gwinnett County is a high school football hotbed – but how hot is it? In last month’s NFL draft there were nine Gwinnett natives selected, more than 42 other entire states including Ohio, Alabama, and Tennessee. Grayson and North Gwinnett both had two draftees, the only Georgia schools to have multiple. Georgia’s reputation as a football mecca is nothing new, but with UGA soaring to new heights and colleges in surrounding states taking notice, it’s notoriety is somehow growing even further.
