After being cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID, the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade was a bit of a muted affair in 2022 thanks to continuing restrictions and a limited number of floats allowed.  But the red tape has been cut for the 2023 edition with a record number of entries including floats, marching bands, and fife and drum units.  The 199th edition of the parade will be a celebration of Savannah’s Irish Catholic heritage as thousands of tourists from all over the country flock to the scenic coastal Georgia city for one of the biggest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in the world.
