Former Georgia Congressman and U.S. Senator Saxby Chambliss has kept very busy since leaving public service, helping push an array of causes by leveraging his Washington connections.  His latest endeavor – a push to expand high school classes that teach U.S. history and civics via the Civics Secures Democracy Act.  The bipartisan legislation, sponsored by Sens. John Cornyn, R-TX, and Chris Coons, D-DE, looks to invest in a civics curriculum at a national level to ensure that future generations of students are better informed about the building blocks of the United States.  For lending his support to a noble, bipartisan cause, Chambliss continues to RISE…
