The U.S. Senate this week passed a bill, sponsored by U.S. Sens. Jon Ossoff, (D-GA) and Chuck Grassley, (R-IA) that will better help first responders deal with people suffering from PTSD or traumatic brain injuries. California Gov. Gavin Newsom may be taking shots at Georgia in an attempt to lure the film industry back west, but the Peach State’s film industry continues to break records. 2022 was another record year for the tv and film industry, with over $4.4 billion in direct spending, according to a new report from the Georgia Department of Economic Development.
