Georgia struck a decisive victory in the Water Wars against Florida Thursday – as the U.S. Supreme Court unanimously ruled in the Peach State’s favor.  Justice Amy Coney Barrett authored the decision, which stated that Florida did not sufficiently prove that a water consumption cap was needed for Georgia, nor that Georgia’s water use played a significant role in the decline of Florida’s oyster farms.  There are likely more battles to be fought, and more money to be spent on litigating them, but for now the ruling has Georgia’s position in the Water Wars RISING…
