The site of the old General Motors plant in Doraville, near Atlanta, has sat vacant since 2008.  Well not for much longer – Gray Television is purchasing the 127-acre property to develop it into a mixed-use ‘Studio City’ which will feature apartments, offices, retail, and 10 movie and T.V. studios.  When complete, the half million square feet of video production space would make it the largest set of facilities in the state, and be leased out to filmmakers.  A big new move has Georgia’s film industry and Doraville’s evolving economy RISING…
