A bill that creates a tax credit for up to $1,000 for teachers who agree to work in targeted districts is headed for a vote in the Georgia House of Representatives. HB 32, sponsored by Dave Belton (R-Buckhead), sailed through the Ways and Means Committee Thursday afternoon, and is headed to the Rules Committee for placement on the House calendar for a full vote.
