Georgia lawmakers could vote as early as tomorrow on a bill that would allow families to visit the sick or elderly in hospitals and long-term care facilities during a public health emergency. However, after much heated debate in the House Human Relations and Aging Committee meeting last Thursday, HB 290 has been pared down from the original version of the “Right To Visit” legislation introduced by Rep. Ed Setzler (R-Acworth).
