President Donald Trump will host one final rally in northwest Georgia’s Dalton, on Jan. 4th, the eve of the state’s U.S. Senate runoffs.  The location is significant – early voting numbers have lagged in the reliably Republican 14th Congressional District, a worrying trend for the GOP as it looks to turn out as much of its base as possible.  The district’s congresswoman-elect, Marjorie Taylor Greene, has been vocal in her criticism against the elections process in the state, and has said she will join an objection against Georgia’s Electoral College votes when they are counted on January 6th.  However, she is urging supporters to vote, and voted early herself this week. The Trump rally will take place at 7 p.m. on Jan. 4 at Dalton Municipal Airport, capping off what promises to be a wild and star-studded sprint to the finish.
