They may not have played basketball since early March, but the Atlanta Hawks are making an impact on their hometown off the court.  First the team announced that it was converting State Farm Arena into an early-voting center, the state’s largest in a time where more Georgians are voting early than ever.  Now it is partnering with Atlanta Public Schools for the Hawks at Home program that encourages students to learn basketball skills and stay healthy in a time where many are still stuck at home.  Hopefully the NBA will tip off around Christmas, but in the meantime for their civic efforts the Hawks are RISING…
