The University System of Georgia’s statewide impact on the economy jumped over 4.5 percent in fiscal year 2019 — up to $18.5 billion, a study revealed. And that’s just the beginning of the good news. USG generated 157,770 jobs in that 12-month period, and a Class of 2019 graduate is predicted to earn $888,563 more over the course of their career as a result of their degree from a USG institution.
