Long lines be damned – Georgia saw record-breaking voter turnout on Monday for the first day of early voting, with 126,876 ballots cast for the Nov. 3 elections.  Minor issues at polling places seem to have been cleaned up relatively quickly as the previous early voting single-day record, around 90,000 votes, was shattered.  Who does record-breaking turnout favor?  That remains to be seen – but more Georgians exercising their right – and responsibility – to vote has the state’s civic ship RISING…
