Georgia Congressman Rick Allen used his time on the House floor late last week to oppose a “massive partisan energy package” and voice his continued support for nuclear energy. Even though the House passed H.R. 447 the next day by a vote of 220 to 185, Congressman Allen spoke out against the Democrats’ 900-page energy bill that would authorize more than $135 billion in spending on “radical Green New Deal priorities at the expense of others, like nuclear energy.”
