For the second time in about 15 months, Attorney General Chris Carr has helped secure debt relief for former ITT Tech students in Georgia. Late last week Carr announced that an agreement had been secured to obtain nearly $10 million in debt relief as part of a settlement with 47 other attorneys general and the federal Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. Last June, Carr was part of a $168 million settlement that resulted in debt relief for 18,664 former ITT students. That agreement was with Student CU Connect CUSO, LLC, which also offered loans to finance students’ tuition at ITT Tech.
