Georgia’s economic reopening continues and one example is the growing number of cybersecurity jobs available. Fort Gordon is home to the U.S. Army’s Cyber Command headquarters. In nearby Augusta is the state-financed Georgia Cyber Center. Although only two years old, the Center plans to add a third building to its campus due to private companies wanting to locate there. And there are over 500 cybersecurity researchers spread across Georgia Tech’s Midtown Atlanta campus, who bring in more than $180 million in research awards annually.
