Test requirements have been in the news a lot lately, mainly as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The latest issue to arise is should standardized test requirements be dropped from the state’s Zell Miller HOPE Scholarship? That could depend on who you ask.

State Representative David Wilkerson (D-Powder Springs) says yes, and adds that he plans to introduce legislation in the 2021 Legislative session that would remove the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) and American College Testing (ACT) requirements.
