According to a new study from the New York Times, UGA is third among public universities with the most reported COVID-19 cases, with 390 cases among students, faculty and staff.  That coming as campus is nearly abandoned for the Summer, though students are preparing to return soon.  Not so coincidentally, the Athens City Council is preparing to vote on a new ordinance that would enforce a 10PM “last call” in bars and restaurants in the city, a move to cut down on the city’s infection rate, but one that would obviously cut out peak drinking hours for already-struggling bars.  With students about to come back to campus, Athens’ handling of coronavirus seems to be DRIFTING…
