The film industry in Georgia is not only here to stay – it is dedicated to helping the state get back on its feet as it looks to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic.  An announcement from Gov. Brian Kemp, citing data from the Motion Picture Association-America, states that the film industry plans to bring back and hire an estimated 40,000 production workers, who will be employed on an expected seventy-five production projects that will invest over $2 billion into the Georgia economy during the next eighteen months.  2019 was a record year for filming in Georgia, and while 2020 has been difficult to say the least, the Georgia Film Office is working alongside the state’s film industry to get the state’s economy RISING…
