If you’re looking for a bright side to the COVID-19 pandemic, look no further than the Georgia Senate’s passage of HB 879, which would allow for the home delivery of beer, wine, and liquor to customers.  The existing restriction on booze-delivery was temporarily lifted during the pandemic, when folks were loathe to leave their houses but still needed something to drink.  The idea seemed to go off without a hitch, (and maybe saved a few DUI’s) and now lawmakers are seeing the upside of how additional delivery options can help industries hit hard by coronavirus.  The bill has some hang-ups to work out as it heads back to the House for a final vote – but the odds of seeing alcohol delivery soon are RISING…
