In case you needed a reminder on why improving transit has been the largest concern for Atlantans for decades, here you go.  A study from the American Transportation Research Institute (ATRI) shows that three of the top 10 worst truck bottlenecks in America are in the city – at I-75 and I-285N, I-85 and I-285N, and I-20 and I-285W.  That’s a huge mobility constraint on Atlanta traffic, and that’s ignoring the connector, where trucks are theoretically not allowed.  Having three of the worst trucking bottlenecks in the nations shows just how difficult the city’s transit woes are to solve, and why they have the city’s travelers SINKING…
