Governor Brian Kemp stopped by McEachern High School in Powder Springs Thursday to highlight his administration’s accomplishment in education last year, lay out his plans for the new year, and his re-enforce his commitment to students, teachers, administrators and school personnel.

“The facts speak for themselves. Our budgets are strong, pro-education budgets,” said Kemp, who closed his remarks with a Biblical reference. “As Jesus said on the Sermon on the Mount, ‘For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.’ It is clear our treasures and our hearts are with our students, our educators and our schools, and I, for one, am very proud of that.”
