Gretchen Corbin, president and CEO of the Georgia Lottery, sat down with Georgia CEO recently to thank Georgians for participating in the state’s lottery, which last year returned a record-breaking $1.2 billion to the state for education.

The lottery isn’t just a win for students, though, according to Corbin.  It is also a win for communities large and small – both in retailer commissions and in actual winnings, which were nearly $2.9 billion in FY2019.
