Last week U.S. Sen. David Perdue, R-Ga., temporarily and single-handedly blocked a vote on legislation allowing Indian nationals to effectively monopolize the U.S. green card visa system for at least a decade. “(W)e have some language that needs to be clarified,” Perdue said. “I still have some concerns about the impact this legislation would have on some specific industries in my state and in the country.”
