The other shoe dropped Tuesday as Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms directed the Department of City Planning to ban e-scooters and other similar devices from 9:00pm-4:00am, effective immediately.  The move comes as a response to an influx of the devices on Atlanta streets, which many believe has created a public safety hazard.  Indeed, the city has seen four scooter-related deaths this summer, with countless more injuries.  A nighttime ban coupled with plans to look at ways to make the city’s streets safer for scooter and bike riders, among other initiatives, has the city’s ship RISING…
