Former CoA exec. caught in federal probe
Another twist in the ongoing federal corruption investigation at Atlanta City Hall saw former Atlanta Chief Financial Officer Jim Beard involved in a scheme to procure military grade rifles. New documents from the investigation show that Beard used city funds to purchase a pair of fully-automatic rifles, saying they were for police use.
