Atlanta’s Emory University has granted former President Jimmy Carter tenure.  The Nobel Peace Prize winner has been a been a University Distinguished Professor for the past 37 years, lecturing in classes and holding monthly town hall meetings at the renowned college.  The Carter Center was also launched in collaboration with Emory.  Carter, 94, and now the longest-living U.S. president in history, has received many honors over his life, but this one from a school where he has been a key figure for nearly four decades is special, and has his ship RISING…
