Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau President and CEO William Pate sat down with our friends at Georgia CEO this week to discuss the importance of international tourism, as well as some of the partnerships his organization has developed with other Southeastern cities.

With China close to becoming the number one inbound market to Atlanta for visitation, spending more than $7,500 per person per visit, it is crucial to capture and develop the international tourism market going forward.  Partnering with nearby cities in the region – most notably tourist hot spots like New Orleans and Nashville, is another key mission for the Atlanta CVB.
