When Howard University President Wayne Frederick announced that former Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed would be giving the school’s commencement speech – students and alumni were none too pleased.  Reed, an alumnus of the historically black college, has been caught up in a whirlwind of investigations surrounding his administration, with several members already being found guilty.  Critics have called the move “tone deaf,” probably the nicest way to put it – having a character like Reed speaking to the school’s fresh-faced graduates has Howard’s ship SINKING…
