The Southern States Energy Board (SSEB) this week announced that Georgia state Rep. Lynn Smith (R-Newnan) has been appointed Vice Chair of the organization, and will serve on its Executive Committee.  SSEB’s stated mission is to “enhance economic development and the quality of life in the South through innovations in energy and environmental policies, programs, and technologies.”  Chaired by Kentucky Gov.
