“Today we are providing relief, opportunity and hope for generations to come,” said Governor Brian Kemp Wednesday before signing House Bill 324 — Georgia’s Hope Act. The legislation, sponsored by Rep. Micah Gravley (R-Douglasville), allows medical marijuana patients to purchase the cannabis oil they were already legally allowed to use and legalizes the cultivation and distribution of medical marijuana in Georgia.
