As first reported by the Atlanta Journal Constitution, over the past four months more than 40 million(!) gallons of untreated sewage have spilled into waterways in Fulton County due to its outdated and in parts crumbling sewer system.  The county has already been forced to pay more than $150,000 in penalties for the spills, with more fines expected.  The county is currently in the midst of a $500 million+ sewer line project that will hopefully alleviate some of the problem, but with no short term solution in site the county’s public works department is SINKING…
