When most people think of winter outdoors recreation in Georgia and the Department of Natural Resources (DNR), many probably think of hunting related activities, particularly of the antlered ungulate variety. However, there’s much more going on beyond deer hunting. The DNR is still doing research, land management and environmental protection.
