As any local driver can tell you, potholes are a major issue throughout Atlanta.  They can damage cars and cause wrecks, and many have gone unfixed for years.  Under Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, the city is working to correct that issue, launching the ‘Fix-It ATL’ initiative in October aimed at fixing potholes around the city.  By using the ATL311 app, Atlantans can send in the locations of potholes and crews will swing by to fill them in as soon as possible.  Since the program’s launch in October, the city has filled in more than 2,400 holes and is working on more every day.  So if you’ve got a pesky pothole on your commute send it in now – Atlanta’s redoubled efforts to improve the city’s road condition has its ship RISING…
