Cobb County District Attorney Vic Reynolds has been ringing the alarm for some time now — sending the warning that Georgia, like the entire nation, is in a crisis as a result of criminal street gang activity.

LaGrange Police Chief Louis Dekmar has waged his own war on street gangs and the violent crimes that terrorize the residents of this west Georgia city, stating that “This isn’t something that is not going to go away by itself. Gang activity that goes unchecked is always going to grow. We can’t hide our heads in the sand and wish it away.”
