A joint study from the Atlanta Regional Commission, City of Atlanta, Cobb County and the Trust for Public Land will examine the possibility of opening up access to the Chattahoochee River over a 100 mile stretch from Lake Lanier down to Newnan. The study would look at opening roads to allow better access, as well as connecting existing trails to new ones along the river. Soccer moms and yoga practitioners rejoice – the largest Whole Foods in the South is set to open in Atlanta.
