In a story that has garnered national headlines, a Hephzibah charter school has reinstituted a policy allowing teachers to paddle students, with their parents’ permission.  The Georgia School of Innovation and the Classics has come under fire for the decision, as corporal punishment for children has fallen out of favor in most schools over the years.  Bringing it back is probably not a great look for the school, or the state, and has GSIC’s ship DRIFTING…
