July is a time for many to head to the beach or join family for summer vacation in some other far-flung locale. For some Georgia farmers though, this year July means heading to Williamsburg, Virginia for the annual meeting of APRES – the American Peanut Research and Education Society. This year is the 50th anniversary of APRES and the conference is packed with events ranging from awards to the latest scientific research.
