The U.S. Department of Transportation this week awarded some $184 million to Atlanta’s State Route 400 (SR 400) Express Lanes Corridor Project, a public-private partnership project that will add 65 lane miles and is expected to reduce traffic delays by 18 percent.  The grant comes via the DOT’s Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA) program, part of the infrastructure initiative pushed by President Donald Trump’s White House.  We all know how badly we need road upgrades, so securing major federal dollars to go towards the state’s infrastructure improvements has its ship RISING…
