The Atlanta Regional Commission is feeling the burn from the new state budget signed last week, seeing their planning budget cut by some 75%.  The cuts came following an audit by the state, which found evidence of wasteful spending and mismanagement, most notably from ARC Commissioner Douglas Hooker, who spent thousands of dollars on food, alcohol, and other personal expenses using the Commission’s credit cards.  The ARC has disputed some of the audit’s findings, but its ship following these cuts is SINKING…
