For those following Georgia politics closely, weekly legislative updates are a common recurrence. This week’s update from the Georgia Conservancy contained a somewhat surprising legislative nugget – the comeback of House Bill 332, the Georgia Outdoor Stewardship Act.

Sponsored by Rep. Sam Watson (R- 172 Moultrie), the bill would create a dedicated source of funding for land conservation in Georgia. The bill calls for a required November 2018 referendum which would allow voters to approve the legislation. If approved, the bill would:
