With Lance Bottoms holding a three point lead at 41% to Norwood’s 39%, the race is well within the poll’s 4.4% margin of error. In addition nearly 20% of respondents say they remain undecided, a high number that could lead to the race tilting in either direction.
As expected, Norwood leads among white, independent, and Republican voters, while Lance Bottoms maintains her lead from the first round of voting among blacks and Democrats.
With both candidates campaigning feverishly and picking up endorsements left and right, this race looks to remain too close to call. It may be another long night on Tuesday as Fulton County’s infamous elections officials tally up the votes in a nail-biter.
