Early Wednesday morning the official Twitter account of the Atlanta City Council tweeted that Mayor Kasim Reed had vetoed the recently passed marijuana decriminalization bill.  After outrage from supporters of the measure, (which passed the council unanimously) the account corrected itself, saying the mayor had in fact signed the bill.  Reed was less than pleased, calling it a ‘political stunt’ aimed at hurting him, (and presumably his favored candidate, Keisha Lance-Bottoms).  It’s unclear as to whether it was a shot at the mayor or an honest mistake, but more drama in the mayoral race has it DRIFTING…
