The City of Atlanta has made it known that rapid gentrification and soaring rent prices are a major concern going forward, (just ask the last Beltline CEO) and now it has a plan.  Mayor Kasim Reed Wednesday announced a strategy that would involve finding private investors to buy up rental properties and then lease them out to lower-income residents who might otherwise be forced out.  A noble idea, but fiddling with the free market has a way of finding itself SINKING…
