DeKalb County is one of the largest counties in the State of Georgia, with 740,000 residents calling the area home. Those residents travel hundreds of thousands of miles on DeKalb streets every day, walk millions of steps on DeKalb sidewalks, and take advantage of all that DeKalb’s infrastructure has to offer. Indeed, the robust network that connects the county together is a large part of why economic and population growth remains strong there.

However, those streets are getting bumpier every day. The sidewalks are cracking to their breaking point. The infrastructure that all the county’s residents rely on are slowly falling into disrepair due to a lack of investment into their maintenance and improvement.
