The first meeting of a Senate study committee created to review current primary health care needs and mental health care needs of Georgians, will be held September 11 at the State Capitol.
The committee was created by Senate Resolution 188 during the latest legislative session, and will be chaired by Sen. Renee Unterman (R-Buford) who sponsored the resolution. The committee will be made up of nine members (including Unterman), who will be appointed by Lt. Governor Casey Cagle — President of the Senate.
