Politicians often make bold promises about their desire to install term limits, but very rarely do those words turn to action.  Not so in the City of Marietta, where the City Council Wednesday voted 6-1 in favor of capping limits for city offices at 12 years.  The vote came following a public referendum last November where 80% of residents voted in favor of the idea.  Term limits have been found to be a popular notion nationwide, so Marietta taking the big step of instituting them has the ship RISING…
