The City of Atlanta released the cost of its rainbow crosswalks it installed in Midtown earlier this month, and some are balking at the figure.  The crosswalks are painted in honor of LGBT equality, of course a major issue for many in Midtown Atlanta, long considered one of the country’s most gay-friendly areas.  Clocking in at a whopping $196,000 though, the price seems a bit steep for a coat of paint.  The notion may be a good one, but such an expensive project for a city often strapped for cash has its ship DRIFTING…
