What a difference a year — and a few provisions — makes. A year after Governor Nathan Deal vetoed the controversial “campus carry bill,” he put his signature on a different version of the bill Thursday that will anyone over 21 with a gun permit to carry their weapons on college campuses across the state.
There were some rumbling around the Capitol this week that the Governor would sign this version of the bill, but there was no notice given that the bill would be signed Thursday.
